You never really know initially if somebody has a food allergy. For certain people, these allergies can be extreme and require close caution. Instead of presenting them with your mom’s recipe or a home-cooked dish, consider giving your new neighbors a homecoming gift. A smaller décor piece for their apartment or a maintenance tool should do the trick nicely. This is very helpful if you notice a young adult or student that is moving in, as they might not have as many common household items.

Do you know of an excellent under-the-radar pizza shop? Now is the ideal time to help them with some business! Presenting new spots around the community to eat is a great way to welcome a new apartment neighbor into the community. They are not familiar with the local cuisine, so giving them some recommendations will help acclimate them to the area and the neighborhood. After you and them have grabbed a bite, consider sitting out by the pool to catch up, your new neighbor will appreciate the helpfulness you’ve provided.
