No need to fear, though, you are able to work out in your apartment, but how can you do so quietly? We all want to be courteous to our apartment neighbors, so it is important to find exercises that will not disturb those living around you. Yogas all about finding your inner peace, so naturally, it is one of the quietest workouts you can do. All that you need is a yoga mat of some sort and floor space, and you are ready to go. There’s various kinds of yoga videos online, ranging from flexibility and balance type exercises to more intense ab workouts and bodyweight resistance poses. Yoga can be done whenever you want, but it is always a good idea to start your day with a positive mind, and then end your day with a few stretches. Yoga is one of the most popular apartment workouts amongst older apartment residents too.

Circuit Training

Another excellent workout to try out in your apartment is low-impact circuit training. While you’ll have to hold off on any workouts that involve jumping, there are plenty of other exercises to pick from, including lunges, squats, and crunches. Once again, all you’ll need is a mat and your body because no equipment is required. Do about 15 reps of each, and you will feel the burn. Planks are also a good exercise that involves a lot of body strength, so start off with about 30 seconds, and work your way up each day to see how long you can hold each pose. This is one of those apartment workouts that will not wake up any of your neighbors.

Resistance Bands

If you prefer working out with some equipment, try using a resistance band in your next workout. They are usually very affordable and can enhance your workouts without adding any noise. You could use them to target a specific muscle group or add them to your bodyweight exercises for a bit of extra resistance. There are plenty of easy apartment workouts for you to consider!
